I recently visited this wonderful local resource, and I was amazed how much work has been carried out. What was absolutely fantastic was that after weeks of torrential rain, the paths were dry and extremely well drained. In fact the management of the water resource was really effective and very natural. there has been alot of thought and wisdom used in this project, as well as much hard work.
Well done all who have helped out, the lichen, butterflies and bird surveys are also fascinating and quite unique in our area. Many thanks to all involved.
