Beinn Tharsuinn
South of our area, seen prominently from the Struie Road, are the wind turbines of the Beinn Tharsuinn windfarm .
This windfarm development is run by Scottish Renewables (PDF 1.5MB).
They operate a Community Benefit scheme which makes funds available each year to several local communities. The Ardgay & District Community Council receives a discreet amount each year and thus welcomes applications from within our community from groups who identify modest gaps in project funding.
